Pyrography refers to anything using heat to apply calligraphy or images to a surface. Heat foiling can be done on a variety of soft surfaces, such as leather, vinyl, and faux leather. Wood burning is another heat method that burns words or images into things like charcuterie boards or tags.

Don't forget about classic pointed pen calligraphy! Items such as place cards, bookmarks, gift tags, client thank you notes, and wedding favors can all be done on-site with pen and ink. I love Moon Palace Sumi black ink, but walnut ink is another favorite of mine, especially if it has shimmer in it!
